Movement in relation to a frame of reference.
What is frame of reference?
A system of objects that are not moving with respect to one another.
What is distance?
The length of the path between two points.
What is a vector?
A quantity that has a direction associated with it.
What is a resultant vector?
The vector sum of two or more vectors.
What is acceleration?
The rate at which velocity changes.
What is free fall?
The movement of an object toward earth solely because of gravity.
What is constant acceleration?

What is a non linear graph?
A curve that connects the data points that are plotted.
What is a linear graph?
When the displayed data form a straight line.
What is speed?
Distance traveled per unit time.
What is average speed?
A rate of motion determined by dividing the total distance traveled by the total travel time.
What is instantaneous speed?
The rate at which an object is moving at a given moment in time.
What is velocity?
