What are the "phases of training" ?
The information that falls in between the 3 different building blocks of training. ex. (Stabilization, Strength and Power)
What is muscular endurance?
A muscles ability to contract for an extended period of time.
What is neuromuscular efficiency?
The ability of the neuromuscular system to enable all muscles to enable all muscles to efficiently work together in all planes of motion.
What is a prime mover?
The muscle that acts as the initial and main source of motive power.
What is a superset?
Two exercises performed back to back without any rest between them.
What is rate of force production?
How quickly a muscle can generate force.
What does it mean, to be deconditioned?
A state of lost physical fitness, which may include muscle imbalances, decreased flexibility, and a lack of core and joint stability.
What is proprioception?
The cumalitive sensory input to the central nervous system from all mechanoreceptors that sense body position and limb movement.
What is a proprioceptively enriched environment?
An environment that causes the body to use its internal balance and stabilization mechanisms.
