What causes seasons on Earth?
How Earth tilts on it's axis, and the sun's rays hitting the Earth directly or not.
What is the cause of day and night?
The rotation of Earth on it's axis.
What is the difference between Earth's rotation and Earth's revolution?
Earth's rotation causes day and night. Earth's revolution is the movement of Earth around the
sun.
What causes the phases of the moon and what do the phases look like?
What way and direction the sun is shinning on the moon. (b) Look in notes.

What do we use to measure the distances in space?
Astronomical units measure the distances between planets. Light years help us measure the
distances between stars.
Name the inner and outer planets.
Inner- Mars, Earth, Venus, and Mercury. Outer- Neptune Uranus, Saturn, and Jupiter.
What do the color of stars tell us?
Temperature. Red= Coolest Blue/ White= Hottest Yellow= Medium
