What is Epimysium?
Surrounds skeletal muscle and all foscicles in a muscle
What is Perimysium?
Surrounds individual foscicles and separates muscles into a small comparments.
What is Endomysium?
Surrounds individual muscle fiber.
What is Sarcolemma?
a cell membrane of a muscle fiber.
What is Sacroplasm?
Cytoplasm of a muscle fiber.
What is Myofibril?
Threads of protein inside the Sarcoplasm.
What is Myosin?
Thick protien filament inside a myofibril.
What is Actin?
Thin protein filament inside a myofibril.
What is the I-band?
Actin filaments attached to Z-lines.
What is the Z-lines?
Protein to which actin binds.
What is the A-band?
Region where myosin overlaps actin.
What is Sacromere?
Unit of muscle from Z-line to Z-line
What is a Motor Neuron?
Nerve cell that connects to muscle fibers
What is a Neromuscular Juction?
Connetion between motor neuron and muscle fiber
What is a Neruotransmitter?
Chemicals that go from Neuron to muscle fibers
What is a Motor Unit?
Consists of motor Neuron and a muscle fiber
