The main people or animals in a story.
What are Characters
To show how things are alike.
What is Compare
To show how things are different.
What is Contrast
An idea you get from clues, prior knowledge, and common sence.

A problem of challenge facing the characters in the story.
What is Conflict
Words, phrases, or sentances around or near any unfammiliar words that help you understandits meaning.

A piece of information that helps you know more information.

A phrase that comes at the begining of the root word and changes the meaning.
